The School Business Administrator/Board Secretary of the Somerset County Educational Services Commission (SCESC), in the County of Somerset, State of New Jersey, by authority of said Board, solicits sealed bids for student transportation. 

STUDENT TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

2025–2026 School Year

NOTICE is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Somerset County Educational Services Commission (“SCESC”) for: Project Description: SP26-3 • Student Transportation Services Bid 2025-2026 Project Locations: Per each route's Bid Specs and Route Specs, which may include Public, Vocational, Temporary and/or Special Education routes in Somerset and surrounding Counties. Bids Received on: https://somersetcountyesc.ecsourcing.com e-bid platform. Bids Due: March 18, 2026 at 9:00 AM. Bids Opened: March 18, 2026 at 09:01 AM at SCESC, 991 Route 22, Suite 301, Bridgewater, NJ 08807. The Invitation to Bid, Bid Forms, Drawings (if any), Specifications and Contract (the “Bid Documents”), as approved by SCESC for the Project(s), may be obtained by prospective bidders on the https://somersetcountyesc.ecsourcing.com e-bid platform. Please register your New Supplier name and required information. You can then View Posted Bids. Please then Request an Invitation to Bid to gain access to and submit your bid. Addenda, if any, will be sent to all suppliers who have registered, not less than five (5) days prior to the bid opening. Bids shall be fully and completely made on https://someretcountyesc.ecsourcing.com e-bid platform, as required by the Bid Documents. All Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a bond, cashiers or certified bank check, in an amount of five percent (5%) of the total of all per diem amounts bid, multiplied by one hundred eighty (180) days, but not to exceed $50,000; and such Bid Security, to include all pages and Consent of Surety, shall be uploaded to the e-source site before the opening date and time set forth above. No bids or Bid Securities shall be received or accepted after the date and time set forth above.

No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days following bid opening date. The Somerset County ESC reserves the right to reject any or all bids pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-2(s), (t), (x), (y), 18A:18A-4(a), 18A:18A-22, in whole or in part, and to waive informality in the bidding if it is in the interest of the Board of Education to do so. 

Bidders are required to comply with all applicable laws including the requirements of Equal Employment Opportunity N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq. and Affirmative Action Against Discrimination N.J.A.C. 17:27, et seq., as well as any applicable Executive Orders.
